Management Analyst

The incumbent provides operational support and expertise to the facility Quadrad, participating in executive leadership discussions, decisions, and policy-making. Using specialized knowledge and skills pertaining to health care delivery systems and working under broadly delegated authority, the incumbent takes action to develop or modify objectives and boundaries of assignments as indicated and plays a critical and influential role in organizational performance and excellence. The Management Analyst serves as the Serves in a consultant role to medical center leadership providing guidance, recommendations, and oversight of activities related to workload capture, resource utilization, information management, revenue enhancement, and VERA funding. The incumbent executes responsibilities through analyses, coordination, planning, administration, development, interpretation, delegation, and good judgment. The incumbent serves as a principal advisor to medical center leadership for highly complex internal and external issues involving workload, resource use, information management, revenue enhancement, and VERA funding. The incumbent also serves as technical authority in interpreting, applying guidelines and formulating policies. Additional duties and responsibilities includes but are not limited to the following:
Coordinates workload, resource use, information management, revenue enhancement, and VERA funding activities through leadership in committees and workgroups. Provides regular and timely reports on workload capture, resource utilization, information management, revenue enhancement, and VERA funding. Analyzes and evaluates (on a quantitative or qualitative basis) the effectiveness of line program operations in meeting related goals and objectives. Researches and investigates new or improved revenue enhancement practices for application to medical center programs or operations. Analyzes management information requirements to develop program or administrative reporting systems including the systems specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and systems evaluation methodology. Analyzes new or proposed legislation or regulations to determine impact on medical center workload, funding, and resources. Identifies and develops data required for use in the management and direction of related programs. Develops management and/or program evaluation plans, procedures, and methodology. Conducts studies of organizational performance and recommends changes or improvements in organization, staffing, work methods, and procedures. Work Schedule:

Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-13 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-12. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials.
