One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade GS-11 in the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required. Specialized experience is defined as:
Providing support for a Local Area Network (LAN), and Wide Area Network (WAN); Demonstrated knowledge with installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network hardware, and network device operating system software; Resolving conventional network problems, and patching identified security vulnerabilities; and experience with information assurance policies and procedures to maintain a secure network, and IT-related experience demonstrating Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving as described in the vacancy above. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
