Responsibilities While reporting to the Syneos Health Oncology Sales Manager, this role will provide critical support promoting and educating the client's product in an assigned territory.
Frequent collaboration with the Oncology Sales Manager and other promotional resources to respond to their day-to-day sales and strategy direction related to product promotion activities.
Create awareness of Tebentafusp to targeted Oncologists, Health Systems and Cancer Centers.
Engage in deep discussions with prescribers regarding treatment of metastatic uveal melanoma.
Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
Frequent collaboration with the Oncology Sales Manager as it relates to sales and strategy directionDemonstrates deep marketplace, therapeutic, product and disease expertiseBuilds and maintains strong professional relationships with physicians/HCPs office and hospital staff and others in the patient care continuumResponsive to the needs of providers and patients understanding the importance of urgent and timely resolutionAnalyzing territory information to create, implement and take ownership of territory business plans to enhance customer relationships and drive sales resultsStrategically identifying and building relationships with appropriate new targets based on referral patterns from eye care professionalsDemonstrate advanced ability to ask strategic, insightful questions to obtain information on customer needs from all stakeholders in accounts, using insights to position product and collaborate with customers on a customized strategyUtilize CRM to capture customer insights and interactionsUnderstanding of tebentafusp coding, billing and reimbursement but utilizes the NAMs, RAMs and patient support program to help manage specific patient affordability issuesAble to quickly problem solveJob Requirements Along with demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:
Bachelor's Degree Required7
years of Pharmaceutical Sales experience required2
Years in Oncology/Hematology or Infusion product highly preferredExperience selling in the melanoma market preferredExperience in rare disease product promotion is also desiredMust exhibit strong experience developing, implementing, executing, and measuring success with accountsConsistent track record of high sales performanceExperience establishing new customer relationshipsRecent launch experience; virtual launch experience preferred (will often use digital platforms for customer interactions)Deep understanding of treatment referral patternsSuccessful experience in Hospital SalesPatient centric focus and experience in supporting patients and providers in Oncology and/or complex specialty productsIntimate knowledge and established relationships in therapeutic and geographic area is a plusAbility to travel extensively due to large account and geographic responsibility At Syneos Health, we believe in providing an environment and culture in which our people can thrive, develop and advance.
