This course will provide you with the necessary skills to use Excel on a daily basis.
You'll learn how to open, navigate, edit, and save spreadsheets. You'll create new spreadsheets, format data, and analyze it with formulas as well as functions like SUM, AVERAGE, and IF.
You'll see how to change page margins and orientation, include headers and footers, and use page breaks. When the spreadsheet is finished, you'll be able to print it or save it as a PDF file.

Getting to know Excel
- Learn what Excel is and what you can do with it
- Explore the Excel environment, including the File menu, Ribbon, and Quick Access Toolbar
- Open and close Excel files or workbooks
- Learn how workbooks are organized and how to navigate through them
Creating spreadsheets
- Create a new workbook
- Enter, edit and delete data
- Select data and apply basic formatting
- Organize data by adding, renaming, and deleting worksheet tabs
- Move and copy data
- Use AutoFill and Flash Fill with lists
- Find and replace data
- Save changes to a workbook
Begin using formulas
- Enter formulas to perform simple calculations
- Perform more complex calculations by controlling the order of operations
